Leading the Trade Mission to Scotland

The Local Enterprise Office Kildare - Committed to Supporting Kildare Based Companies through the Challenges of Brexit

Local Enterprise Office Kildare in association with the Kildare Chamber of Commerce led a trade mission to Scotland on Wednesday 3rd April to assess the dynamics for doing business in the UK post Brexit. The three day visit saw 15 Kildare companies join the Local Enterprise Office and the Kildare Chamber on the first trade visit of the year.

Jacqui McNabb, Head of Enterprise at Kildare County Council closed the seminar saying “The Local Enterprise Office is committed to supporting Kildare based companies in mitigating the potential risks and positioning themselves to take advantage of the opportunities posed by Brexit.” Jacqui continued “If you have ambitions to grow your business by scaling your exports, we are also here to support you in your expansion into overseas markets.”

There are plans for a second trade visit to Boston in October this year, where Local Enterprise Office Kildare clients looking to expand their offering into the US are invited to meet with US companies that are looking to import from Kildare.
